Stories
Miniscule, Long, and Short
Stories are where I explore the intimate, the brutal, and the spiritual—moments when ordinary people collide with forces far larger than themselves. Below are short works and novellas that expand the worlds of my books, including the Vinnie arc and the stories that eventually converge into the present day.
The Vinnie Story Arc
Beginning Vinnie’s arc, Psalm for the Damned follows a newly transformed man through the shadows of Hell’s Kitchen as he wrestles with hunger, morality, and the fragile thread of humanity he refuses to surrender.

Psalm for the Damned
A dark, redemptive novella cycle that follows Vinnie — a young Italian-American from Hell’s Kitchen turned reluctant predator — as he confronts violence, guilt, loyalty, and the faint possibility of grace. The story moves through alleys, flophouses, wars, and moral battlegrounds where damnation is never simple.

Chaim’s Song of Praise: Four Friday Nights
A four-part narrative exploring compassion, memory, and the echoes of faith across generations. This multimedia story blends history, fiction, and living tradition into a deeply human journey.

Psalm for the Dead
The final part of the Vinnie arc, Psalm for the Dead expands the story across decades, revealing how Vinnie’s choices echo into other lives—including those whose paths will one day converge with his. A story of reckoning, haunting consequences, and unexpected connections.
Additional stories and chapters in the Vinnie cycle are in development, expanding the world, the history, and the moral complexities of the characters.
